Fight Club on The Genre of the Personal Apocalypse

It is worth noting that there are two interpretations of the book “Fight Club” - public and private-human. Public is that America '90s waiting for change. People on the threshold of the new millennium, waiting for revolutions, riots, crisis, end of the world, in the end.

A new president came to power, it does advancing age of high technology and computerization, as it is well known from the innovations never expect anything good. Maybe such a success of the book by Chuck Palahniuk, and, as a result, and a film by David Fincher, is that it showed how a group of people, not suffering weakness, respectful of the pain and just move on all counts decided to shake America and demolish all the old foundations of the order and the economy.

Palahniuk gave people what they wanted, and Fincher is clothed in visual audio series. "We are the people that you wash floors, cook your meals, clean your shoes, keep order on the streets of your. Do not anger us," says the head of Fight Club Tyler Darden. This is what readers wanted to see - people just like them, who were able to do something that we never be able - rebel, to go against anyone to try to change the world.

It is the impossibility of what is happening and perhaps there lays one of the highlights of the book. It's magic, albeit cruel, dirty and rowdy, but magic. This is a fairy tale, a fairy tale for adults who are tired of hated an boring, rotten foundations of society. And we can all touch it; we need only join the Fight Club.

And what's the other idea of "Fight Club"? It is necessary to dig a little deeper and we find a purely human problem. Who are we in fact? The slaves of their desires, environment slaves, slaves all familiar to us. We live in our apartment, furnish our cozy den, order the furniture of IKEA catalogs. But what happens if it all would be taken away from us? As we ourselves will lead? Lose our mind? Or you open a new part of our essence. The part that we hide, we are trying to hide from others, fearing that we will be closed in a room with soft walls. We are afraid to rebel. We dread to fully show our personality. We are like chains keep our habits, deny that our higher power. And as Tyler Darden said, only after losing everything we find freedom. Therein lays another, perhaps, the main idea of the book. We must learn to live without depending on our environment and our usual things. We should feel free. It's easy. This book teaches us. If we continue to be slaves of this world, then we are facing the same mental decomposition of what happened to the narrator.

It is worth noting that there are two interpretations of the book “Fight Club” - public and private-human. Public is that America '90s waiting for change. People on the threshold of the new millennium, waiting for revolutions, riots, crisis, end of the world, in the end.
