Jack from Lord Of The Flies

In Lord Of The Flies, Jack is demonstrated as the leader of the hunters and choir boys. Here this character plays the specific role and represents some parts of the society which can be broken down with the help of three ways. All these three parts are described and explained below.

As for the first part, here Jack is on society as a whole. In this part, thirsty blood savage plays the role of a symbol of all that is disorderly and chaotic. The scrawny and tall boy tries to break away from Ralph and his rules. In fact, Jack always tries to break the rules of speaking while he holds the conch. Jack interrupts almost every person, especially Piggy, when these boys are speaking with each other. As for the fact that Jack frequently picks on Piggy, it plays the role of a symbol of how brutality and brawn will often overwhelm intellect. In addition, this personage is the represent of the intellectual part of the society. Such character as Jack goes far, and he even breaks the glasses of Piggy what is the other symbol of order and society. It shows how he would destruct and even destroy every last part of the normal part of society that remains on the mentioned island.

The second part is death and life. In this part, death is represented by Jack. Firstly it is symbolized by the black choir cloak of Jack because the black tone is associated with death. For the first time, when Jack appears, he comes out of the so-called darkness of the forest, At the same time, Ralph is the symbol of the goodness, and he can’t see the face of Jack because his stays back to the sun. One more symbol which represents death is darkness. Of course, we also remain blood when hearing about death, and Jack is obsessed with killing the pigs on this island and shedding blood of these creatures. This scene demonstrates how Jack turns into a savage, but at the beginning, he was afraid of blood. Eventually, he is thirsty for it and smears it over his body and some of his followers, who show how Lack was in love with the death and blood of these pigs.

There is also one more part which creates the whole work ‘Lord Of the Flies’. The third part describes the relation to some main aspects of religion which Jack has. Practically he breaks all of the seven deadly sins which are associated with the evil people. The main character is a glutton for meat, is greedy for power and lusts for blood. Jack executes his wrath over the one more character Piggy. Jack envies Ralph who is considered to be the chief.
