Robert Frost (1874-1963) is considered to be in the US poet №1 of the XX century. Despite the fact that the American poetry of the twentieth century was rich in stars of the first and second values: Ezra Pound, Thomas Stearns Eliot, Hart Crane, EE Cummings, W. H. Auden, Edgar Lee Masters, illustrious galaxy of so-called "southern school" and many, many others, the only national poet is reputed to Frost.
