The Conflict Theory Karl Marx

Karl Marx is considered to be the one of most famous philosophers of 19thcentury. He was born in a family of middle class, studied in Berlin, received the degree in philosophy and even became the author of the well-known pamphlets. It isn’t known how he knew this, but his theory works even today.

One of his works is the conflict theory. In this theory Marx demonstrates his opinion and perspective, when the whole society is structured. The sense of such a perspective lies in following – society is described by conflicts. Conflict shows the location of some resources and personalities who get benefit from such positions. Power is one of such resources, which appears due to conflicts as well. In this way, it is used to dominate the people who have less power. Some other philosophers, for example, Sanderson and Collins, consider the human society as not as consensus, but as competition, which will be a conflict in result. Every participant tries to be better and wants to be the first among the competitors. Of course, according to this theory, everyone also wants to dominate.

According to his theory, Karl Marx describes conflicts as a mechanism, which helps different classes in society to dominate. It can be said about their relations between each of class. So people, who are wealth and have power, create conflict situations to threaten their poor neighbors. From the other side, the poor use such method to start the revolution, which will bring equal rights for everyone. Such actions are used by both sides, because every of them wants to be the first. Thanks to the conflict, people are divided into classes. They want to dominate and to be more powerful that other group.

Karl Marx considered the society to be divided into two basic groups. He decided that there were bourgeoisies and proletariat. By the way, representatives of these classes still exist. The result of their mental fighting was called as revolutionary change by Karl. The reason of conflict is that representatives of poor class desire to own the land, factories, and other manufactures which belong to the bourgeoisies. From the other side, powerful people are not ready to give up. They are ready to protect their valuable resources, which help them to earn money, to be respectful and to be wealth. It’s their tool to have the power and dominate.

As a conclusion, it should be mentioned, that such problem seems to be an eternal one. In every nation there are such classes, which always fight between each other, start revolutions and desire to be among the leaders.
