Therefore, the Iraq war is one of the most brutal and bloody war of the 21stcentury. The war began in 2003, when the United States of America and its allies, which includes the United Kingdom, Australia, Poland, Iran, Italia, Georgia, Ukraine, Spain, Netherlands and New Iraqi government, conducted the invasion on the Iraq territory. What was the casus belli of this war? The reasons for the invasion were suspicions that the Iraqi government headed by Saddam Hussein is going to develop biological weapons, which threatens not only the US but the entire international community and humanity in general. The representatives of the United States in the UN Security Council declared that there is a possible connection between the president of Iraq – Saddam Hussein and Al-Qaeda, the terroristic organization, which organized and carried out a terrible and notorious terrorist attacks in New York in September 11, 2001. The United States tried to adopt the resolution, which will force Saddam Hussein to disarm and destroy biological weapons of Anthrax. If the leader of the country refuses to do these actions, the US would have an opportunity to conduct a humanitarian intervention. However, three permanent members of UN Security Council refused to maintain this resolution. That is why the USA decided to begin the war without the special permission of the UN. Hence, the USA breached the rules of international law, but they probably saved the entire world.
