Views and Beliefs in Religion: a deeper look on believing

Religion, like education, is a social institution. Religion is a form of understanding the world, based on faith in the supernatural. Religion includes a set of rules of morality, cults and rituals.

From the theological point of view, religion is the relationship between man and God. From the point of view of philosophy, religion is the belief in pure reason and a form of self-discovery. According to Sigmund Freud religion is a great illusion, a means of replacement of things a person does not understand. Jung identified religion as a tool of psychoanalysis and psychotherapy. Karl Marx called it the opium of the people, that is, a means of fooling with subsequent exploitation. The term "religion" in Latin means a reunion with God and was first mentioned by Cicero, who considered religion the reverence for higher powers.

All world religions have a common history of origin, a single source of information put on their basis, the source of which is hidden in the world of the ancient creed. Analysis of the internal structure of contemporary world religions and the main provisions confirms the idea that all world religions are based on many similar assumptions! Tor there is another formulation of this idea. All religions have, at their heart a common belief, and the reason for the today observed dissociation among world religions, and in many respects even for their intolerance, is the man!

The basis for the understanding of the faith almost all theologians usually put words attributed to the Apostle Paul that faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. If you take away from the religious life everything that makes sense from an earthly point of view, there will remain something that cannot be understood and realised, and without which religion loses all its sense. It is clear that your attitude to God is faith. If there is no faith, there is no God; if there is no faith, atheism takes place.

In conclusion, I must say that religious ideas are not born in the mind of the individual, they are not the result of analysis of the own experience of people. They are embedded in their consciousness. Therefore, any attempts to analyse faith fail. Therefore, faith and analysis are intolerant notions.
