Sight in the Moment of Truth

Moment of truth comes from Spanish El Momento de la Verdad. In Spanish this expression is used in a bullfight and defines the moment of the fight, when it becomes clear who will win – the bull or the matador. The term became popular after it appeared in the novel Death in the Afternoon by American writer Ernest Miller Hemingway.

Figuratively: the sight in moment of truth is when the truth becomes apparent at the moment of epiphany.

In the life of every person there is a moment of truth, when everything becomes clear. What is truth? Truth is knowledge of a specific and actual episode from reality. This knowledge can be and is likely to be incomplete, as the person sees only a fragment of truth. People can not only see the truth, but they can also feel it.

Sometimes, there is such a feeling that you know what will happen in the next minute. Strange, but quite often we might also know what the other person is about to say or do, though not always consciously. All of this is called intuition, which means people can obtain information, which is inaccessible to senses, however, the information is receive via the unconscious perception. This ability has been recognized by the sixth sense.

Intuition is poorly understood. It is interesting because it is described by the Eastern religions as a method of self-actualization – a psycho-physiological phenomenon, which is enjoyed and used by everybody even without knowing it.

This phenomenon has been studied for a very long time. Shamans, spiritual leaders, and visionaries, according to the definition by Jung, still exist.

The first attempt of a scientific explanation of intuition came through Carl Jung. He was the one who proposed the theory of the collective unconscious as a reservoir of formless ideas. Jung spoke of the existence of universal thinking, which occurs universally and which has been called the collective unconscious. From this it follows that every person has tremendous potential of knowledge and experience. Intuition provides a direct link between the mind and the collective unconscious, which allows you to intelligently interpret the experience and at the moment of truth correctly guide your spiritual activity.

The basis for such assumptions is that intuitive insights always come suddenly. Intuitive processes lack the decision-making, it is a question-and-answer, a person hasn’t thought why.

Thus, it turns out that a person is aware of certain information from the channels of perception (soul), and, as a rule, this perception is true.
