Each time when this argument is concerns, people end up nowhere because both sides present their valid and strong proofs and statements, but they all agree that this subject should stay away from politics. This matter was caused not only by the arguments between Christians and atheists, but it also attracted attention of many other religious groups in this country because children belong to all of them. There are endless arguments used by people against the prayer in schools.
Although the anti-prayer side has more arguments, the pro-prayer one has stronger and better arguments. Besides, even though pro-prayers have stronger claims to convince other, the society is still divided in terms of this subject. Citizens should understand that recommending and accepting the school prayer can violate the first amendment rights and other important areas, such as the history of the whole nation.
The US nation is increasingly profane and becomes less broad-minded when it comes to its moral values and standards. That’s why many people consider that it’s the right time for changes, but most of them still have valid arguments focused on why the prayer in schools is a poor idea. For instance, they claim that the basic purpose of public schools is to educate students, not practicing any religious activities.
