The Church During the Middle Ages

Christianity dominated religion in the Middle Ages. It was the era, when the most magnificent cathedrals of Europe were built and the Catholic Church established its universities in Tubingen, Paris, Oxford and Cambridge. During the Middle Ages, the Catholic Church happened to be the only church in Europe.
