Rainbow diet is not of this category of food systems. It includes a variety of tasty, healthy and low-calorie foods on each day of the week. The main diet concept is to eat the food of particular color each day of the week:
Monday is for white color. Whiteness symbolizes energy and strengthening the immune system. On this day you can eat bananas, cauliflower, coconut pulp, boiled potatoes, tuna, rice and egg protein.
Tuesday is for red color. This color is a symbol of circulation increasing and muscle tone strengthening. On this day you are allowed to eat red grapes, cherries, tomatoes, red currants, pomegranate, red peppers, red kidney beans and red meat.
Wednesday is for green color, the color of relaxing and calming. Wednesday in the rainbow diet is called the true summer day, because on this day you can eat any leafy vegetables, spinach, cabbage, broccoli, green peas, green apples, avocados, and drink green tea.
Thursday is the day of orange color, the day of vitamins and the cardiovascular system strengthening. At this stage of the diet you are encouraged to eat carrots, mango, pumpkin, papaya, sea buckthorn and salmon. These products, among other things, slow the aging process and protect the body against cancer.
Friday – the day of violet color. It is a day to improve digestion and remove all pain. On Friday you should eat purple onion, black currants, eggplant, plums and dark grapes.
Yellow Saturday is for positive mood and intellectual enrichment. On this day you are allowed to eat yellow apples, apricots, peaches, bananas, yellow peppers, pineapple, egg yolk, cheese, honey and corn.
Transparent Sunday is a fasting day. You should only drink mineral water on this day.
