Early Years And Education
Being born in Ulm, Germany in 1879, Albert Einstein moved to Munich where he spent his childhood and went to school. At those times, Einstein was even considered a mentally handicapped pupil being the poorest one in the whole class. Albert could not even speak well, being nine-years-old whilst his classmates were praised for having fluent and graceful speech manners. Moreover, Albert was constantly punished for his exceptional bad behavior.
Nevertheless, once his father introduced algebra to little Albert, he was quickly fascinated by the clear and certain proofs of this subject. When Albert was sixteen, he was already mastering calculus and preferred getting self-education at his home rather than in college. Anyway, he did graduate the FIT (Federal Institute of Technology) in Switzerland in 1900. Particularly here he discovered his passion for physics.
Albert Einstein was working in a patent office in Bern, Switzerland after the graduation of the institute. Afterward, he married Mileva Maric, his former classmate. This was on January 6, 1903. The marriage brought them two sons, Eduard and Hans. During these years, Einstein got his doctoral degree and printed his general theory of relativity. Nevertheless, the marriage did not last long breaking in 1919. Several months past, Einstein married his cousin Elsa Löwenthal whom he was meeting when still being married to Maric. His reputation of a betraying man was with him during his second marriage, too as he was frequently seen with different women. Löwenthal died in 1936 and thus ended their marriage.
Nobel Prize And Other Achievements
Albert Einstein changed the views on time, space, energy and mass thus shaping the modern physic by means of his Miracle Year papers. The general theory of relativity was completed in 1915. Einstein considered this as the culmination of his entire life search. He won the Noble Prize in 1921 for Physics. Definitely, there were also many other achievements due to which Albert Einstein remained in science history forever.
Albert Einstein was accepted by the most remarkable and influential physicist of the entire 20th century! The atomic energy was immensely developed due to Einstein. This outstanding physician, mathematician, and inventor spent his late years focused on the theory of unified field. He died on April 18, 1955, in Princeton, New Jersey when he was already 76. He left an entire empire of the most important inventions.
