I picked up work for a farrier and had several close shaves with horses that didn?t enjoy me. Then I made a decision to move out of my home city of Brancaster, in the Norfolk County, to London. I had learned music during my younger days and I managed to put the skills to utilize as a strolling vagabond (or even a busker because you'd now call them). While in London I'd often think about what my parents might believe me in my dishevelled state. This would cause me to become lonesome and I'd delve deeper into my wicked manners as well as my own drunkenness. I really rarely communicated with my parents as I had been ashamed of what I'd been and didn?t understand how to stop it. One day while in the streets of Hackney, feeling lost and sorry for myself, I heard the nice sounds of singing.
