Introduction In this time, where money and capitalism makes the world go round, it's no wonder why corporations and conglomerates desire stay ahead of their competition by taking on the best individuals for the occupation. Objectives The objective of this paper is to examine what factors affect self-perception of applicants undergoing an employment interview, and also to determine how applicants' self-perception impacts performance throughout the selection procedure. Significance Malaysia is composed of a multicultural society where people of different ethnicities and religions living together in peace and harmony under a single country.
