The Age of Technology From the minute you are born until the day that you die one thing will remain constant and that's the progress of technology. Everyday there is something new brought into our world. Whether it's a revision of an older technology or only a new discovery, it doesn¹t matter, there's always progress. Today we are living in a civilization in which technology has effected everything. Technology has come into play a part in faith, science, and even the imitation of humankind. Today it's a challenge to find one thing that technology doesn't play a part in. With technology there's always progress and till the end of period it will always be in motion. Recently, I have had to do some research regarding the advancement of technology and it¹s impacts on humanity throughout history. Throughout my research something became obvious to me and that is technology, in a brief time period, has progressed drastically. If you agree with the bible that Cain was the first inventor(Genesis 4) or simply believe in the mythical character Thamus, it doesn¹t matter. Somehow and somewhere technology started and since then it's never stopped growing. To research this topic I moved into a cultural critic who's an expert in analyzing technology¹s effect on culture. In the technological universe Neil Postman is a well considered a cultural critic for his opinion and for his perspective of technology now. He's also known for other publications like, The Disappearance of Childhood, and Crazy Talk, Stupid Talk.
