The UIC Theater introduced Carlo Goldoni's The Foxy Widow led by Paola Coletto. The Foxy Widow is set in the 18th century in Venice, Italy; in which Rosaura, a widow, is seeking a appropriate game so she could be a widow again someday. After spending most of her childhood within an arranged marriage with an old wealthy guy, Rosaura hunted for "true" love without any boundaries and compensate for lost time with a young man instead. Following a party, four young guys had fallen to the widow Rosaura. Every one of the four men had different backgrounds, cultures, personalities, and fires. The four guys consisted of a Frenchman, Spaniard, Englishman, and an Italian guy. Rosaura is very skeptical on who will undoubtedly be her second husband. After having a couple one-on-one adventures with each suitor, she queries their love for her. Rosaura than meets every suitor wearing clothes that concealed her identity and gave her the appearance of somebody from each suitor's home country. After trying to divert every one from Rosauara, she needed a product from every suitor. After collecting everyone, she declares her love for its Italian suitor who'd passionately defended her while the other suitors caved into other desires. Love at first sight is possible, but it is always a fantastic idea to take a second look. Rosaura learned this the hard way. After marrying a man she regrets allowing to take place, she's now careful with her next husband of choice.
