Against Homosexuality A number of essential principles that most people today seem to be unaware of (particularly those who teach in the schools of law enforcement and legislators of societies) are: Man hasn't been granted the power and authority to specify the essence of offense. That authority is rightfully allowed only by God. Thus the responsibility all humankind has is to embrace laws in accord with all the Regulations of God. The reason God is the rightful One to define the character of offense is because He is the Creator of all humankind. So it's God who will best define what's evil for the man. It's the Almighty God, one to whom all humanity is responsible (Romans 3:19), that has characterized homosexuality as a crime (Leviticus 18:22). Not only has God described the true nature of offenses, but He has also prescribed what the punishment for these needs to be. The natures of these divinely prescribed punishments imply how heinous the crimes are. Though a specific offense is a different kind and have various attributes to other crimes, yet it may be equivalent or higher in heinousness. Thus God has not prescribed that homosexuals should merely be spoken against, revoked, discriminated against, or banished from the nations, but He demands that they've been put to death by each government where they dwell (Leviticus 20:13) without a sorrow should be needed for them. Thus we see that God takes death for homosexuality just as he needs death for murder. This tells us that homosexuality is at least equivalent to the heinousness of murder.
