Robert Frost has been an American poet, and playwright who became one of the major pioneers in poetry in the late 1800's into the 1900's. Frost grew up in rural New England in the early twentieth century and also experienced a lot of hardships in his lifetime including losing his father at the young age of eleven and losing 2 children at very young girls. He used his own experiences of growing up in a metropolitan place in most of his poems. Another major these in his poems are decision-making poems generally based off of his own life. This really is a massive them in his writings since Frost always wondered what could have happened when he decided doing something aside from writing poetry in his life.
