Jesus Christ, the figure who changed history over any other, did lots of wonders to show other people that he was God's son. God gave Jesus power over nature, power over illness, and sometimes even power over death. As a young Christian, my knowledge was a small understudied, to say the very least. Now, as this module has a close, I understand that I've learned so much! While composing this post newspaper, I intend to explore my comprehension of the historic Jesus, Jesus as the Messiah, and Jesus as the Personal Savior. About two thousand years ago God organized the deadliest circumstances possible for his incarnation to humanity. Jesus was born into a teenaged virgin named Mary and her husband Joseph. The Annunciation is that the revelation to Mary by the angel, Gabriel that she would conceive a child to be born the Son of God (Wikipedia, 2006). Although Mary was a virgin, Gabriel told me that God's energy could produce the conception potential. The biblical account of the Annunciation is at the first chapter of the Gospel of Luke, 26-56. Luke describes the annunciation awarded by the angel Gabriel to Mary that she was to become the mother of the Incarnation of God. The Annunciation happened in Nazareth at the sixth month following the conception of John the Baptist by Elizabeth. Gabriel took the form of a man and approached Mary telling her that she was preferred by God and to not be fearful. Mary questioned the disclosure understanding that she had vowed her virginity to God. The angel reassured her and told her about the conception of John the Baptist, the miraculous pregnancy of her cousin, Elizabeth, now old and sterile (New Advent, 2006).
