When you compare colleges in the 1800's and today, you are going to understand how things have drastically changed. Some believe that the public school system now has taken a turn for the worst in the previous years. Students have more than simply tests and quizzes to fret about. They're faced with violence, drugs, pregnancy and sex, and state mandated tests that may tell whether they'll pass to the next tier. The general public school classroom today has more kids which takes off the personal attention to each individual student. Parents have demonstrated less interest in their children's education since they have worries of their own going on at home. Teachers are bound to a schedule for teaching every thing that is required to know ahead of the tests. Funding for certain classes like music class has not been available for pupils and has been removed. In my research, I have begun to believe that putting more tension and stress on the pupils have made them only give to care less. We're taking away from students and providing them more anxiety. There are many reasons for a child to behave at school. I believe that speaking about the various stresses including bullying, peer pressure, alcohol and drug misuse, family stress, and the stress of the mandated evaluations would develop a better understanding on why I believe we are neglecting children now. In public schools, pupils are faced with the different classes among their peers. The favorite group is most preferred, which likely suggests you go to college in the latest style, you're the team captain or captain of the cheerleading squad.
