I think that in the current society, folks of every race and age group have grown to be victims or victimizers of stereotypes. Asians are believed to be the smartest race, African Americans/blacks are believed to be the most criminal race, and Caucasians/whites are believed to become the laziest and fattest race; the set of stereotypes in the current society could continue and on. The stereotype of religious beliefs is very prevalent in my own community. We've a population around under 400 and about 99 just.9% of my community is a specific religion. Everyone simply assumes when you proceed to this community, you are also of the religion. If indeed they find out you aren't, they differently treat you, even if indeed they don't mean to. They have got their inside jokes and tales from church. The students that usually do not attend their church as considered the "bad kids" at school. Unfortunately, I believe this community provides been this way for a long period and it will have a long time to allow them to not stereotype the ones that aren't of their religion.
