Consumers need complementary medications, some evidence indicates that work might operate, and their usage is on the rise. But most complementary drugs lack clinical trials that conclusively prove their efficacy. This can be further compounded by a lack of clear information on the condition of the human body of proof for the support of certain complementary medications. For pharmacists, believed medication therapy experts within the area, their distribution by a pharmacy poses a serious ethical dilemma since it is would be unwise to recommend that an unproven treatment. This essay will argue that there is no location for the supply of complementary medications in pharmacy. Reasons for consumer demand for complementary medicine is going to be assessed along with the ethics of their supply by a pharmacist within a pharmacy will be analyzed. Avogo, Frimpong, Rivers, and Kim (2008) report consumer motives for seeking access to complementary medications are many and varied, and include: A) people without ready access to conventional treatments, b) those disappointed with standard care, c) those that standard medical.
