Wordsworth "We are seven" Lyrical Ballards Wordsworth "we are just seven" Lyrical Ballard was composed in 1978 when he was 28 years old. The poem was stuffed with supernatural and natural events. "A simple kid, that gently draws its breath, and feels its life in every limb, describing the little girl being filled with life. The speaker questioned the little girl what should it know about death? The poem starts off by the speaker asking a kid what they understand about death. He then meets an eight year old cottage girl. The curled thick haired little girl appeared to create the speaker happy. The description of this small girl "rustic, woodland air" gives the reader an image of a country harsh air. Wordsworth utilized natural and supernatural meanings in "we are seven". The tiny girl was not able to understand death by repeatedly included the two dead siblings. The little woman has a strong imagination and nature is confusing her from understanding the difference between her dead and living siblings. The small girl could clarify where her other siblings were but she couldn't differentiate the dwelling for the deceased. She advised the speaker that two siblings were at sea, two other lie in the churchyard, one under the churchyard tree. The kid said that two dead siblings' at sea spirits are in heaven. Wordsworth used supernatural being to explain the siblings' spirits have been in heaven. The natural facet relates to the 1 sibling lying underneath the churchyard tree. The speaker still question the amount of siblings to the kid she insist that "we're seven".
