My historic figure is Jesse James. Jesse is from the Old Western time period. Jesse is a notorious bank robber. He's viewed by most as the American Robin Hood. There are few who don't know his name. He is potentially the most famous and influential criminal known to Old Western American history. September 5, 1847, at Kearney, Missouri declared the birth of Jesse James. Jesse was brought up with a really renowned farming family. He and his brother Frank received a wonderful education. His father, Robert James, ironically a baptist reverend, and his mom Zerelda Cole James. James and Frank joined the Confederate guerrilla soldiers once Jesse was 16. They were alongside William Quantrill and "Bloody Bill" Anderson. Some say the brutal treatment of the union soldiers turned James contrary to the trigger; forcing him to become a rebel. Although he had been a criminal he is viewed by most in a really positive light and/or way. His strategic ways and his capacity to evade the authorities and bounty hunters would be your notoriety. The folk stories about him stealing from the rich and giving back to the poor and needing is the legend. It's indeed a fact that he is a really controversial figure in American History. Views upon him vary per person, nevertheless everyone has and will speak about him no matter their perspectives. Many other older western offenders wanted to be him. However, none succeeded in totally becoming the phenomenon that is Jesse James. Jesse James joined the Confederate soldiers in the spring of 1863. Some state when Jesse and Frank were in the confederate soldiers the brutal treatment they received was that which led them to the life of offense they soon had led. This birthed the powerful figure of the wild west so to speak. This occasion "sparked the flame".
