Phoenix Jackson One could see Phoenix Jackson as an old granny who might be a bit crazy in the head. Another could describe Phoenix as a frail elderly woman who has lived through a lot of life's history. Either accusation could probably be proven true to a certain level. Phoenix Jackson conveys those traits along with many more. Phoenix Jackson was a free-spirited, caring, and gentle older Negro girl who lived just to save her grandson's life. Phoenix Jackson was a difficult woman for her age. Living just with her ailing grandson, Phoenix had small business and no additional companions. Therefore, she endured from being lonely. Living far away from any assistance of a city, Phoenix would make the difficult trip to the closest city whenever her grandson ran out of his medication. She had been so determined to help her grandson that nothing else really mattered. Phoenix Jackson needed a vibrant description painted for himself by the writer. Phoenix was a small and frail elderly Negro girl. She wore a red rag attached to her head holding her up black, curly hair that fell into ringlets. Upon her, she also wore a very long and dark striped gown with an equally long blouse on the top of it. Upon her feet were untied tennis shoes. She always carried her thin and small cane , which was really an umbrella. Her old eyes were blue with age, and her skin had become a routine of numberless branching wrinkles.
