As stated by the Commission on Global Governance (1995), the global governance refers to "the sum of the numerous ways individuals and institutions, public and private, manage their common affairs. It's the continuing process whereby battle or diverse interests may be accommodated and cooperative action may be obtained". Some main actors involved with the process of global governance include countries, international organizations (IOs), regional organizations (ROs) and non-governmental associations (NGOs). Global governance implements in different issue areas including security, economic deelopment, environmental security and so on. Various states and organizations have different or even contradictory interests. Yet as globalisation continues and the planet grows more inter-connected than previously, global government or collaboration among different actors is increasingly becoming a more significant part in the international stage. Some critics view global governance fairly negatively as they believe that the current system lacks efficacy and efficacy. In this paper, however, I shall argue that global governance has been carried out more effectively in maintenance of entire safety and promotion of economic development while less efficiently in environmental preservation and protection. Therefore, despite constraints of the existing mechanism, global governance is still largely a postive advancement in world affairs. IOs and countries play a critical role in preserving world peace and security. Even the United Nations (UN), in particular, is the centerpiece of global governance connected to the maintenance of world peace.
