For this client system assessment, I have chosen a customer I participated with while on the job, my customer's name is Keith. Keith is 34 years old and has experienced several unfortunate circumstances surrounding his life, beginning with his arrival. Keith's family system consists of himself, his mother and two step wolf. Keith was unfortunately the product of a rape, and seen repeated domestic abuse situations with his mum's boyfriends and husbands, was mistreated himself and to this day, Keith continues to endure in most domains: emotionally, mentally and physically. I will assess Keith's family system as well as Keith as a person using Erikson's Emotional Condition of Development, '' Bowman's Family System Theory and Marcia's Identity Status Model. Erikson's Psychological Stages of Development Erik Erikson's concept is based on eight emotional stages of development. With the aim of Keith's evaluation, just six stages of evolution are acceptable for Keith and his family currently. Trust vs. mistrust, autonomy vs. shame, initiative vs. guilt, industry vs. inferiority, identity vs. identity confusion and intimacy vs. isolation will be addressed in this paper.
