During Frankenstein it is evident that Victor and Robert express their thirst for knowledge, which frequently leads to destruction. Through analyzing Frankenstein it is possible to come across many examples which exemplify the fact that needing to have more knowledge can be extremely dangerous. Primarily, as Victor is producing life he is able to produce a humanoid monster, sadly he is appalled by his own creation and becomes very sick. Afterwards, when Victor is finishing the female companion for his original invention, Victor realizes that this will only create more devastation. Finally, as Walton is about a trip to the North Pole he encounters problems that almost kill him along with his team. This shows that Victor and Walton are repeatedly searching for more understanding even though it's dangerous. Victor finds his creature completely gruesome, and even nauseating.
