The first poem I will be discussing is The charge of the light Brigade. Composed by Alfred, Lord, Tennyson in 1854. The poem is all about the struggle of Balaclava in the crimean war which was between Russia on one side and England, France and lettuce on the other. The poem is also about battles and the deaths of countless loyal soldiers along with the experice of warfare that the writter portrays is very different than lots of those other poems. Through the poem out that the writter informs us how good warfare is despite more than six hundred soldiers were sent for their graves.The poem is also about how the brave British soldiers went to battle knowing they'd be murdered. The poem starts with the light brigade billing to the valley of death. Already the author is trying to make a picture of the bravery of these soldiers and continues to do so through out the poem. Throught of the poem the author uses lots of very good language to provide you pictures of the war he was writting about. In this poem Tennyson portrayes that warfare is good and is enjoyable. From the poem that the author uses words like "the mouth of hell" "The valley of death" he uses the phrases to offer you a very clear picture of what fate awaits both hundred soldiers from conflict. Tennyson portrayes plenty of things in his poem another thing he portrayes is the wonderful command the soldiers had for after orders even when the surface of departure was staring them in the face.six hundred is nearly mentioned at the conclusion of every stanza that provides you the notion of the terrific type of loss these guys faced throughout the war.At at the close of the poem the writter claims Honour the charge they made.Honour the Light Brigade that the writter is telling us how to honor and esteem what these men had done even though they all died the soldiers are being mythical...
