Actively involved parents are becoming an endangered species. They start out strong in primary education- going to PTA meetings and attending field trips. Yet, when their kids move on to higher education at middle and higher school, their functions almost diminish. Exotic teachers have been unable to re-connect the difference between pupils and parents. Within this paper, I will describe the signals educators' notice when a student is lacking a decent amount of parental engagement and continue to spell out the current methods used to deal with issue. From here, I'll highlight the advantages of good parental involvement and how communication between parents and teachers influences the education system. Finally, I'll describe a new approach to civic participation and ways we can encourage it - focusing on what it means for the future of education. This research paper will be most beneficial to current secondary high school educators trying to establish the needed involvement, in addition to students pursuing any form of an educational degree at State University. Acts such as No Child Left Behind established different requirements, which centered on parental involvement in reduced income and minority families (Bracke and Corts, 189). While programs like this are exceptional in their own efforts, they don't strike a principal problem-teachers lack the experience of communication effectively with parents.
