INTRODUCTION Gifts of the Holy Spirit are presents which are given to believers at the church, from the Lord for building up the Church and edifying the body of Christ. These presents are divided into different groups, groups which require supernatural intervention and gifts that don't need supernatural intervention, otherwise called gifts of ministry and presents of manifestation. These gifts are recorded in Romans 12:6-8, 1 Corinthians 12:4-11, Ephesians 4:11 and 1Peter 4:11. With-in these scriptures there are different gifts recorded and their basic orientation differ. According to Millard J. Erickson, "Ephesians is a list of various offices at the church, Romans and 1 Peter catalog several standard functions performed from the church and 1 Corinthians is an issue of special skills". It is my intention to highlight the presents of manifestation found in 1 Corinthians'12:4-11 and the gifts of ministry located in Ephesians 4:1. Thesis Statement, "while some Christians would view Religious Gifts as a hazard to the structure of a church, even many Christians, like myself, believes that these Gifts of the Holy Spirit are edify and perfecting of the body of Christ". Knowing THE GIFTS Many Christians will go through life wondering if they've a talent and if they do they are unsure exactly what it is and the way to correctly function within the administration of the present.
