Assessing Bronte's Wuthering Heights and Dickens Coketown During British Literature, compositions made by honored literary artists reflect current dominant lifestyles. The gaps in prevailing environments are observable when comparing Emily Bronte's Withering Heights and Charles Dickens Coketown. Bronte shows the uncontrolled unbinding liberty available though nation living predominate in the late 17th and early 18th century, whereas Dickens explains the disheartening effects of industrialization, which caused enormous urbanization and many negative consequences.
