In life, I believe, somewhere along the line, all of us lose our way. We become cynical. We become strangers to ourselves. We ramble from our route. My movie will show this in action by exploring a young man heading out with nothing but a bicycle to look for his way backwards. The main battle is between the young man and himself. His mental struggle to accept his shortcomings, let go of the past, and proceed towards his future. I want the viewer to feel the frustration and heartache of this young guy and route for him to locate whatever it is he is so desperate to discover. Ultimately, I want them to understand getting lost is all part of the travel and what life throws at you; it's all worth it in the end. The American Dream, it was embedded generations after generations. It advised you to work hard, to prepare your self, to go to college, to pick a career, maybe you go to grad school, then, once you graduate, then you go to live the life you always dreamed of. Sounds easy, right? I mean that why tuition prices are so costly, right. Isn't a well-received education the best investment you can possibly make? However, what occurs when the outcome doesn't turn out as plan. What happens to those who prepared their whole lives only to discover that their training wasn't good enough? Individuals who took out thousands of dollars in loans to make that "wise investment" only learn that there is not a market that desired them. An entire generation of Americans waiting for an opportunity which isn't coming. What should they do? How should they proceed forward? Should they sit around for the phone to ring? Or, if they go out in search of a new route? . I want to produce a film about finding that route. A movie about venturing to the unkno...
