Human Culture and its consequences on Technology A fluid border exists between the impacts of culture and technology on the environment. Culture is usually described as the predominating modes of acting and thinking that characterize the joys of a group, whilst technology is the collection of knowledge available to a society which aids it in crafting resources, practicing arts and skills, and drawing or gathering substances. In some instances, a people's culture pushes its pursuit of highly advanced technologies, while in other cases the execution of newfound technologies changes and shapes culture. These associations are clearly visible during the course of human history. This paper concentrates on the ramifications of early human civilization on the advancement of technological advances. Some cultural developments with important impacts on human technologies which are particularly of note are religion, war, and the value system of wealth.
