The issue of television violence and its influence on children's behaviour troubles me. Television violence seems to be becoming rich and violence appears to be rising. This might be a dangerous kind of amusement, especially when young children become involved. The majority of television programs viewed by children contain considerable amounts of violence and inappropriate material. Children's vulnerability poses as the main difficulty because of desensitization. Psychologists' studies report that children become resistant to television violence and embrace the behaviour as a way of problem solving. Other men and women argue and say that tv can't be blamed for the increase of violence among our society. They consider the growth comes from a lack of discipline and the large amounts of violence children view in their environments. Others feel that a high number of parents use television as a babysitter and do not spend enough excellent time with their children. Children then begin to learn negative behavioral ways and begin idolizing inappropriate characters. ? I am uncertain about this issue and its consequences on the way kids act. Is television teaching children abusive behavior and directing them to become violent adults? When children see substantial amounts of violence, I feel the prospect of desensitization gets likely. Does desensitizing cause kids to take violent behavior as ordinary and help them to grow to be violent adults? A study done by the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry reported that tv does increase aggressiveness in children's behaviour. The vast majority of violence seen by children contains a substantial number of unrealistic violence. This type of violence commonly found in animations causes a considerable quantity of concern. For instance, when a character smacks another on the head with a hammer and another character subdues no injuries from the strike. Children don't see the consequences and mimic what they've seen. Thirty years of research have documented that by the time a child reaches age 18 they will have seen 40,000 pretend murders and 200,000 dramatized acts of violence.
