Purpose and Hypotheses of the research The purpose of the study by DeSimone & Parmar (2006) is to scrutinize the beliefs and comprehension of general education teachers of mathematics in the middle school level concerning teaching learning disabled students in inclusive classes. The study researched the following four questions: 1. Which are the generally held beliefs of general education teachers of mathematics in the middle school toward including learning disabled students in the general education classroom? 2. What knowledge base does the general education teachers of mathematics in the middle college Have about the learning needs of learning disabled students that are in their course as well as their ability at adapting education? 3. What's the impression of this general education teachers of math in the middle school regarding administrative support and resources devote for inclusion courses? 4. What's the impression of this overall education teachers of mathematics in the middle school regarding the preparation they have received in their pre-service programs for teaching in an inclusive class? Sample Names of possible participants were accessed through professional associations and school districts. Surveys were sent nationally to 361 middle school mathematics teachers with inclusion courses. The researchers received 228 responses from 19 different countries from all around the United States. The sample seemed to be a reasonable representation of middle schools across the nation (DeSimone & Pamar, 2006).
