To you personally, community and culture might seem that they're very similar. From the narrative, "The bear that wasn't" from Frank Tashlin, Tashlin describes the gist of civilization. This narrative was used to depict the subject of civilization in course because it tells a tale of a bear who's told that he isn't a bear and has been made to modify the way that he lives to fit into a particular culture and eventually become institutionalized. In this narrative, readers know about a bear that goes into hibernation, and when he awakens, he sees himself in such a new environment, a factory. Since the factory doesn't have a role to get a stand, he is advised that he is not a bear. For a little while, the bear informs the people in the mill that he is in reality a bear, and they just tell him that he's a hairy man that should shave, as when he really was a bear he would be in the zoo or in the circus. After many times seeking to inform many diverse people that he's a bear, also so is advertising turned down, even the bear starts to think that he is not a bear in any way. He also lost his sense of individuality and also his sense of self. The bear cooperates with the rules and fulfills the function of a mill worker.
