Stand up, Al AS Drama Portfolio Inspiration, Aims and Techniques I believe the goal of this bit of drama is to amuse the viewer whilst at the identical time which makes them believe. I need the piece, when completed to leave the audience thinking about parts of it, although not understanding it all so that they continue to wonder things about the item to themselves. Notably I want them to feel sympathy and a heat towards our principal personality Al.. This will cause them to appreciate the functionality more as they will be relating to him as a person instead of just as a celebrity. The might feel like Al is bullied, cried at and as he's embarrassing himself. The inspirations I've selected for this piece are viewers interaction, for which I obtained from the drama 'The Bacchae' that I saw in with my drama group earlier this season. Another inspiration I want to use is dual story lines, at which we act out two Story lines to the viewer without telling them when we are in one narrative or another. I got the idea for this by the movie Donnie Darko, where everything you see is not what is occurring but what's in someone's head. These inspirations hopefully will help me to achieve my aims firstly by linking with the audience directly through the involvement that it brings them directly into the play and makes them much more emotionally involved than they'd be just watching a part of drama. Second by confusing the viewer that may not appear usual but within this piece we felt it would help to make them think about the part of play by dividing the drama into dual storyline it makes the viewer pay complete attention to attempt to understand what's going on in the piece. These two aspects together should succeed in capturing the audiences attention for the entire length of their drama in addition to involving them mentally with the characters. We will be using different techniques and styles throughout the operation. The very first of these would be realism, we'd use this to show a real event that is happening and portray it to your audience, although for the event could just be in a person's head for example. As an example to demonstrate drunkenness I would stagger round the stage with my eyes-half clo...
