Throughout the publication Outliers, Malcolm Gladwell proves Colin Powell's quote to be true. There are not any secrets one can use to achieve success. While Gladwell's statement is generally accurate, psychologists argue that preparation plays a larger role in accomplishment than just mere talent (38).
