The Charge of the Light Brigade by Tennyson and The Last of the Light Brigade from Kipling Normally both the poems are all about very similar things. Both of them are focused on events regarding the Crimean war. For instance "The Charge of the Light Brigade" is written about an episode where the soldiers obeyed a distinctly ridiculous purchase. Whereas "The Last of the Light Brigade" is concentrated on an event after the war that links to the very first poem by describing what's now happened to the Light Brigade. Although both poems are generally about similar items I think that the writers have written their unique poems with distinctly distinct messages. In "The Charge of the Light Brigade." The author clearly thinks very highly of the soldiers. I think he has written his poem to commemorate "The Light Brigade". I think that he does not want their charge to become forgotten and needs them to be remembered as heroes. This is shown when the author writes "Storm had at with shot and shell, While horse and hero fell." I think that Kipling may have wanted his viewers to no longer watch "The Last of the Light Brigade"as just heroes but as ordinary human beings. I feel that Kipling has composed this poem to generate the British people comprehend what had really happened and allow them to realise that the harsh fact. I believe that Kipling attempts to put right the mistakes Tennyson had composed. This is revealed if Kipling writes "We think that someone has blundered, an' couldn't You tell Celtics today? You wrote we were once heroes sir, please write we are Starving now." I believe Kipling maybe trying to make the people feel accountable for t.. .
