The Government's Concern About the Morale of the British People in the Fall of 1940 inside this question I am asked to analyze why the government was worried about the morale of the British folks in the fall of 1940 by using resources F, E and G and my own knowledge. The problem 1940 was looking bad for Britain since France had pulled out of the war and now Britain were battling Germany in their own. German forces had now invaded Holland, Belgium, Luxembourg and France. Hitler's next aim was to invade Britain he predicted this the Blitz. The Blitz main aims were to violate the morale of the indigenous people and destroying their own houses, transportation and the business. The Blitz specifically was to decrease the morale. It is no surprise that the government was stressed. The British at this period had troops from France fighting against the Germans but have been pushed back on the beaches at Dunkirk. To save the troops little boats set off from Britain to assist the royal navy. Normal British citizens contributing to assist the war effort owned these little boats this demonstrated how high the morale of the British public was. However the British had lost 68,000 guys, left behind 120,000 car, 90,000 rifles along with 2,300 firearms. These showed how awful things were searching to get Britain in fact that the British government was already using propaganda to maintain the flames high of the British citizens.
