This paper is about teenagers being hooked on their mobile phones, and that I can not write it because I am too hooked to my mobile phone. This has been happening to children all around the country. Their phones and societal websites take over their own lives and they don't know how to prevent it. Technology is used nearly everywhere you may see. Children of the most recent generation have grown up with technology; it's a huge part of their life. There are definitely pros and cons to kids growing up with technology. The benefits exist as long as it's handled well by those in positions of authority. Digital citizenship and civic responsibility also plays a big role in technology education for youth. Considering these effects, this technology definitely has changed the way kids grow up. Tech in Schools Today's youth have grown up with technology, so it is not unusual for them to just pick it up and use it effortlessly (Tapscott 40). It is also becoming more common for students to receive iPads to use at college. At Bettendorf High School and Rivermont Collegiate, equally at Bettendorf, Iowa, pupils get iPads as freshmen and get to keep them till the conclusion of the senior year. They are obviously intended for educational use, but students can also put their own music and games on it, as long as it is primarily used for study and note-taking functions. Both of these high schools are merely two examples of the place, all over the nation, the amount of technology allowed in classrooms is growing. Teachers have begun to bring the use of cell phones, iPads, laptops, and other kinds of technology into their everyday lesson plans (Higgins).
