Radiohead and the Jubilee 2000 Campaign When the audio group Radiohead first exploded on to the music scene seven decades ago, it became immediately evident through information means such as music posts, record covers, and also an extensive website, that this particular band was not just another resilient, head-bobbing grunge team only out to sell as many albums as they can. This band had a considerably greater mission in the slightest. It was to inform as many people as they could of their own political, social and economic convictions through their private site. While dozens of different sites have popped up about Radiohead, this website remains uniquely their own because of its direct list title and multi-faceted page within a page of personal comentaries, many written in a barely legible free-hand design, of such issues as forthcoming demonstration rallies, animal testing, predictions on Middle East genocides, wrongful government spending, also barely sqeezed in daily diary entries on their present music progress. With Radiohead's political accusations continuously being updated in oversize bold printing, their political animations of talking teddy bears emerging on a vast quantity of web pages, along with a frequently rushed-looking hand-written in their musical advancement, it will become evident that this website was created more as a world news commentary than a self-indulgent display case of itself. Rather than waste any more distance presenting every issue cited within the website, I chose one issue dealing with two themes that I believed would create the greatest concern to Americans both politically and economically. Prior to my download of the present webpage titled, "US", I have to admit having no knowledge of Bill Clinton's strategy to offset a $5.7 billion debt owed.
