Since I Lay Dying William Faulkner's use of inner monologue as I Lay Dying enables the reader to experience the story from more then a single persons viewpoint. Through the thoughts of Darl Bundren the reader comes to understand what's happening within the household. On the other hand Anse Bundren enables the reader to get a different view on the household. The reader receives the view of an outsider through Cora Tull's narration. The make up of those characters as well as others allows the reader to find all the sides of the story.
