In this 21st century, both management has been observed as both art and science (Reh, 2010). It's an art as it helps people to be more innovative, creative, and effective on doing their work, compare with the preceding time when folks would have been performing their job without applying the understanding of management. Similarly, management could be considered as a science in how supervisors will have the ability to manage people and assist them to demand further and also to be more effective. The term of manager here identifies the individual who accountable for planning and directing the work of some bunch of people, tracking their work, and taking corrective action when it needed (Robbins, Bergman, Stagg & Coulter, 2008). Taylor's four fundamentals has been utilized in several managerial from the past decades and it is proven that Taylor's principles has given progress in the managerial work, business, and instruction (Wren, 1994). But, Taylor's principles that have been utilized in recent years are being contested if instead it is still practicable and suitable in this age or not (Carrol & Gillen, 1987, P. 38). While the intent of this article would be to see if the Taylor's four principles are still being implemented in this 21st century and it could be successfully used even in a non-profit inspired company or organization like government services.
