The Organic is a novel compiled by Bernard Malamud. It is Malamud’s first novel that received mixed reactions but afterwards initially, it was thought to be an outstanding little bit of literature. It is a complete story about Roy Hobbs who after producing errors in his life, he returns the bribery cash and is still left with self-hatred for errors he has done. Hobbs was a baseball player who aspired to be famous, but due to his materialistic and carnal desire, his search for heroism failed, as he was left with nothing. In today's world, the search for heroism is a hard struggle, which is noticed through the protagonist in The Organic. Bernard Malamud was created in Brooklyn, on 25 April, 1914. He was the eldest son within their family. The child of Max and Bertha referred to as also, Fidel guy emigrated from Russia, and ran a supermarket in Brooklyn. In his family members, great emphasis was positioned on the cultural areas of Judaism, even though the family members spoke both English and Yiddish. According to Abramson (23), Malamud spent a substantial time of his life in the Yiddish theater on the Manhattan’s second avenue, and reading novels from different writers including Horatio Alger.
