Religion in the right time of the Communist Manifesto Following the Industrial Revolution in 19th century Europe, change was in full swing and religion started to have different significance for different people. The upper-class citizens utilized Religion, specifically Christianity, along with the power that it possessed in an effort to maintain their high status in society, even while the lower class turned to faith so that their lives could possibly improve. Rather than religion being the basis of faith and worship amongst all individuals, it was being used for money and power from the upper class. Worse, religious leaders were utilizing the upper class people also, gaining authority and money out of their own endorsement. A guy by the name of Karl Marx observed what had been occurring and thus spoke out of it, declaring religion as “the opium of the people.”[1] He had a vision for equality, and then wrote it down at the shape of the Communist Manifesto; however marginally in this record were ambitions of spiritual stability. Religion was becoming the catalyst for course separation and social mayhem in 19th century Europe, also according to Karl Marx, equality was just possible together with the abolition of it as a whole. At a time where industry was at a peak, and the wealthy taxpayers, or bourgeois, were getting wealthier and wealthier, faith was being used as a way to make money and ensure the ability of the top class, although the lower course proletariats can but observe their lives fade away into the horrific conditions of the working class, with very little expectation on account of the absence of reduced class education. [2] as religions distribute openly, the authoritarian peoples often used their capacity to adopt religion for a moneymaker, and also prevent liberty from turning.
