The advertisement designer aspiration is to create the advertisement with characteristics to entice the target consumer as she's flipping through the magazine. The advertisement I discovered was a Target ad, situated in Vogue. This ad uses models, text, and shock value to entice clients to purchase the featured clothing and "play pattern" The very first feature a client finds out when considering the Target ad, are 3 girls dressed in Merona clothing. Among the models is an African American woman. This makes those with dark skin feel that they can buy these clothes too. All odds of race discrimination are eliminated, and Target may be able to sell the clothes to a broader variety of women. The smiling, laid-back poses of the 3 models create a pleasant, attractive mood for people who read the ad. The objective of this is to make the clothes seem more inviting to the target customers. Customers feel that if they purchase the item, they also will be happy and relaxed like the models. Each of the models have brown suede shoes, yet each is a different style.
