The fundamental assumption of Plato's allegory of the cave is to depict the character of the individual being, where authentic reality is concealed, false pictures and data are perceive as truth. From the allegory Plato tells a narrative of a man who is placed to a Gnostics course. Prisoners seating in a cave with their legs and necks chained down since childhood. They're chained in such a way that they cannot see or move each other, only look to the shadows on the wall before them; not realizing they've three dimensional bodies. These images are of animals and men, carried through an hidden men on the backdrop. Now imagine one of these offenders is liberated to the light, the Gnostic path will get painful and difficult, but gradually his eyes will start to match what he finds and his fundamentalist view about the planet will start to change; soon he sees everything through anarchic thinking and reasons. When he return into the cave, his fellow prisoners do not recognize him or know anything he said. He's developed a brand new senses and capability of understanding. Here is the representation of the condition of the human nature, we are living in a cave with all false understanding of reality that we've been told since childhood, these comprises bias belief; however, we must realize these current perception are imperfect. To awaken the unconsciousness an individual has to encounter reality and create new senses. The cave overall incorporates the concept of a movie theater, where folks sit facing a screen with no understanding or desire to know who's playing the film, simply to sit in the darkness and see the monitor. Many of us choose what they see from the movie as fact, not differentiating between, a story, dream and fact, and soon start to act like the characters inside.
