The Great Flood was “the covering of the planet earth with drinking water that occurred before Noah (The Freed Dictionary).” “ In the six hundredth calendar year of Noah’s existence, on the seventeenth day time of the next month- on that day time all of the springs of the fantastic deep burst forth, and the floodgates of the heavens had been opened (Genesis 7:11).” THE FANTASTIC Flood had major results on the planet earth as we realize it today. It caused the climate to improve, which result in the Ice Age and the most drastic change was to the land. The climate was changed by the Great Flood leading to the Ice Age to develop. The Ice Age caused many problems, however the biggest effect was the animals dying off. The elements changed so instantly during it a whole lot of animals simply froze to death. Several species of creatures become extinct, including mammoths. There is a physical body of a mammoth within the Artic that experienced its bloodstream and everything preserved, due to the chilly. The mammoth was discovered “in great preservation on Lyakhovsky Islands of Novosibirsk archipelago (Fox News).” Many mammoths may have survived a huge longer than the one they found on the Islands, but following the Ice Age these were eliminated. The mammoths all disappeared, due to the Ice Age. Actually if people hunted the mammoths it still was because of the winter the Ice Age caused. The cold weather could have made food difficult to find so human beings had to obtain whatever they might even if it had been a mammoth. A whole lot of plant life also died, because of the truly cold weather. “Research has proven that plant diversity in South East Australia was as rich as some of the most different places in the world, and that the majority of these species went extinct through the ice ages (Scott-Melbourne, Rebecca).” The analysis showed that the plant life that become extinct possibly couldn’t stand.
