The topic I chose to do my own research paper was girls in the army and the way that their male counterparts socialized together. I choose this topic because I have often heard remarks concerning women military personnel from male army employees. This prompted me to wish to learn how women are treated in the army and how men feel about these. I believe this is important to investigate because the military is one of the more traditional professions that's left in america. Also, as it has only been two decades since women have been permitted to get combat roles in the military. I believe that there will always be inherent friction between sexes in the army because many of the men are very manly by culture standards and they are feeling threatened by women attempting to behave as masculine as these. The study I ran was in poll form. I asked a string of fifteen, unbiased questions to both female and male military members. A good example of a few of those questions I asked was, "What's been your experience using women/men in the army? Largely positive or negative?" . I emailed these surveys ten army personnel from several branches of the military. I choose to utilize email as a medium of communicating because I understood it would be less difficult for them to answer my own questions when they were able to get it done in their time, the majority of people I am acquainted with live in distant parts of the USA and they're more likely to answer more honestly. I tried to have an even distribution of females and males. I researched two men from the Marine Corps, one male in the Army, one male in the Air Force, along with one man in the National Guard.
